This is the first of three home games in three days for the Syracuse Crunch. It’s also the first of two games this weekend against the Hershey Bears – they play again in Hershey on Sunday. Hopefully, the result will be more favorable for the Crunch than their last game against the Rochester Americans, where they’d lost 5-2.

Ondrej Palat has the second-most assists in the league with 11. And while the starters haven’t yet been released for this game, Dustin Tokarski has the 11th-best goals against in the AHL with 1.96 GAA – along with a 0.914 SV%.
