Lightning Round: NHL teams continue to sign NCAA free agents

NHL teams continues to sign to sign NCAA free agent and junior players on Thursday. In addition to defenseman Nick Wolff, the Boston Bruins signed Jeremy Swayman to an entry-level contract. He spent last year with University of Maine.

The Arizona Coyotes have signed forward Ryan McGregor, the captain of the Sarnia Sting from the OHL, to an entry-level contract.

The Nashville Predators are another team that made a minor deal yesterday. Forward Cole Smith of the University of North Dakota has signed a one-year, two-way contract for next season.

The Vancouver Canucks signed Will Lockwood, a third-round pick from the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, to a two-year entry-level contract.

Later, the Canucks have also signed a forward Mark Michaelis to a one-year contract/
