Tampa Bay Lightning prospect report: USA wins the silver medal

Last weekend the United States got a taste of silver when they came in second to Canada West in the World Junior A Hockey Challenge. Two Tampa Bay Lightning prospects were on that team, USHL players Nicklaus Perbix and Cole Guttman.

Taylor Raddysh, Boris Katchouk, Cal Foote, and Brett Howden all made Team Canada in the IIHF World Championships. They play their first pretournament game Wednesday night in London, Ontario against the Czech Republic.

Aside from the junior news it was all quiet on the prospect front. The NCAA is on winter break, and the USHL just played their final games before break.
