Tampa Bay Lightning vs Toronto Maple Leafs first round series game schedule

The NHL has released the schedule for the first round of the 2023 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. It’s finally here!

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs will begin their playoff series on Tuesday, April 18th, with Game 7 scheduled for Monday, May 1st.

Game 1: Tues, Apr 18 in Toronto, 7:30pm
Game 2: Thurs, Apr 20 in Toronto, 7:00pm
Game 3: Sat, Apr 22 in Tampa Bay, 7:00pm
Game 4: Mon, Apr 24 in Tampa Bay, 7:30pm
Game 5*: Thurs, Apr 27 in Toronto, TBD
Game 6*: Sat, Apr 29 in Tampa Bay, TBD
Game 7*: Mon, May 1 in Toronto, TBD

The Lightning will be on ESPN for Games 1 and 2 of the series, then on TBS for Games 3 and 4. The broadcasters and start times for the elimination games are up in the air. CBC will broadcast all the games in Canada.

All Eastern teams will get two days off during the second week of the playoffs. TBLvsTOR and NJDvsNYR will play Monday-Thursday between games 4 and 5, while the other two Eastern series will due Tuesday-Friday between their fourth and fifth games. The Western teams will be playing every other day.

Bolts-Leafs games will run parallel to the Devils-Rangers series in the East, and the Stars-Wild and Oilers-Kings in the West. Boston-Florida, Carolina-Islanders, Colorado-Seattle, and Vegas-Winnipeg will be on off days.
