In only his 9th regular season NHL game of his career, Jonathan Marchessault netted his 1st goal of the season at the NHL level and his 2nd goal all-time at the top pro level to give the Bolts a 5-0 lead over the Anaheim Ducks. The assists on the tally went to Nikita Kucherov (7) and Steven Stamkos (6), their 3rd points of the game.
It was also the Lightning’s second power play goal of the game, putting a nice dent on the Ducks impressive Penalty Kill unit.
