It took until the 3rd period but it finally happened. The lamp was lit! A goal was scored. It was a Lightning player and their was much rejoicing.
After a scoreless first and second periods, Tyler Johnson (who returned tonight form injury) scored the game’s first goal at 5:57 of the period, assisted by Jonathan Marchessault. 1-0 Lightning over the Kings.
