Friday was the three-year anniversary of when Andrei Vasilevskiy broke the Lightning’s playoff win record back in August, 2020. His 22nd career win against the Bruins in the second round put him ahead of Ben Bishop and Nikolai Khabibulin, and he’s racked up an astonishing 43 more to set the record far out of reach with 65 playoff wins and counting. Going back-to-back and to the finals for a third time would add up.

Oh man, Andre Roy. That brings me back.

Mike Blunden will always be immortalized in those brutal Lightning vs Red Wings games as the Wings were ending their era and the Lightning were starting theirs.

The New York Rangers hired some folks, including former Lightning first round pick, Paul Mara. Funnily enough, Mara was actually traded for Khabibulin!
