The Tampa Bay Lightning returned to practice on Tuesday and there was the welcome site of Tanner Jeannot and Erik Cernak taking regular shifts. Jeannot has been out since February 13 and Cernak left the team’s last game with an apparent lower-body injury. After the team had two days off, it was nice to see both of them on the ice.
It is also interesting to note that the team has been experimenting with flipping Nick Perbix to the left side of the ice after he’s spent most of his career on the right side.

2024 Global Series heading to Prague and Finland [NHL]
The NHL is heading overseas once again as the Sabres and Devils will face off in Prague, Czechia on October 4 and 5 while Panthers and Stars will head to Tampere, Finland on November 1 and 2. The Sabres will also play a preseason game against Red Bull Munich in Munich, Germany on September 27.

The second round pick from the 2022 was found guilty of committing rape as a young person by the district court of Helsinki and sentenced to one year in prison. His Finnish Elite League team, Tappara Tempere, terminated his contract.
Matt Rempe suspended for four games [Blue Shirt Banter]
The rookie who is riding a wave of popularity due to his willingness to fight, will be cooling his heels for four games after he was suspended for elbowing the Devils’ Jonas Siegenthaler.
