Lightning Round: The trade talks intensify around the league

The Tampa Bay Lightning celebration have cooled off a little bit and moved to the player’s private parties, however some videos are still leaking to the public. On the second day after the Stanley Cup victory, the Lightning players went to the golf course and we can assume that Alex Killorn has become a first Stanley Cup winner who jumped into that pond.

Yesterday the team visited a restaurant in Tampa and as you can see Yanni Gourde had a great time.

Meanwhile Jon Cooper and Julien BriseBois brought the Stanley Cup to the Tampa Police Department

The Lightning have to decide who their untouchables are, like captain Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov, Victor Hedman, Brayden Point and Andrei Vasilevskiy, for starters. Then they need to figure out which prospects can step in for departed players, like Mitchell Stephens, Alex Volkov, Mathieu Joseph, Carter Verhaeghe or Cal Foote.

You can find two Lightning players on the TSN’s trade bait list: Tyler Johnson is ranked 18th and Alex Killorn is situated one place below him. In my opinion, Killorn is most obvious candidate after scoring his record high 26 goals in 68 regular season games and given his modified no-trade clause, unlike Johnson who has to agree on waiving a full no-trade clause  if the Lightning management wants to move him.
