So, this happened: Gerard Gallant was fired after the Panthers’ 3-2 loss against the Hurricanes. It’s a dysfunctional mess. [Yahoo Sports]
The Panthers also fired assistant coach Mike Kelly. Panthers GM Tom Rowe, who replaced Dale Tallon last season, will now be behind the Panthers bench. Because that’ll work out well. [Miami Herald]
