I forgot that there is always a surge in Canadian media attention whenever the Bolts cross the border. The result is always a lovely slew of articles, though!

Scott Burnside of ESPN turned his attention to Jonathan Drouin, interviewing him and transcribing it so that Saima wouldn’t have to. “A year after demanding a trade, Lightning winger Jonathan Drouin says Tampa ‘feels like home'” [ESPN]

…While Pierre LeBrun focused on why Tampa Bay is hurting for goals right now. “The Stamkos injury aside, Tampa Bay’s slide is puzzling. This is a deep, talented lineup with a great coaching staff, a team that reached the Cup finals two years ago and fell one win short of a return trip last season.” [ESPN]

“Sophia Jurksztowicz explains the journey Alex Killorn took to the NHL, which included time at Harvard University.” [Sportsnet video]

At some point today, friends of mine at Pension Plan Puppets started spitballing about signing Brian Boyle when he becomes a UFA this summer. Taylor Raddysh has some natural chemistry with his Team Canada teammates, dating all the way back to their days in minor league hockey.  “Me and my roommate, [Michael] McLeod, we kind of gave each other a big hug in excitement. It was a cool feeling for us. We were teammates when we were younger.” [TSN]
