Opponent: Adirondack Phantoms (9-12-0-0), AHL affiliate for the Philadelphia Flyers

The Syracuse Crunch played the Hamilton Bulldogs last night at home, and won 5-1. Five goals were scored, but not one of them were scored by either Cory Conacher, Tyler Johnson, nor Richard Panik. Instead, it was a new cast of characters that scored, including Ondrej Palat, Brett Connolly, Matt Taormina, Alex Killorn, and Pierre-Cedric Labrie. The team also out-shot the Bulldogs 42-20, with Killorn leading all skaters with six shots on the night.

Tonight, the Crunch face the Adirondack Phantoms in Glens Falls. This will be their fourth meeting of the season, and the second at the Phantoms. In the previous matches, the Crunch have won two, and lost one in overtime.

As last night Riku Helenius got the start, it’s expected – but not yet official – that Dustin Tokarski will get the start tonight.
