While the NHL lockout may be over, games won’t be played for likely another week and a half. There has been lots of upheaval so far, and likely more to come in the next few days. But, in the meantime, why not continue on with the Syracuse Crunch?
The Crunch news today thus far….
Tokarski in goal tonight for the Crunch; Cooper said Palat likely to play. Apart from Brown, no other serious injuries

However, Cooper made it sound like some players might be held out of tonight’s game on request of TB. Wouldn’t say who yet.

“I don’t know yet. There’s potential. But I’m not sure yet. As of now, no. There won’t be a major exodus of guys not playing tonight…
— PS Syracuse Crunch (@PSCrunchHockey) January 9, 2013
“That’s probably going to change on the weekend. We’re probably going to go from losing no guys to losing a ton of guys.”
— PS Syracuse Crunch (@PSCrunchHockey) January 9, 2013
Keep in mind though, that some of the players Syracuse loses for start of TB camp could be back with Crunch when NHL season starts

So the 2013 NHL shortened season craziness appears to be extended to Syracuse, which should probably be expected.
