This runs counter to reports yesterday in Tampa that nothing was going on, “Quiet day” and all that. It also seems to confirm the damage done by the leak of St. Louis’ dissatisfactionin Tampa and the club’s 1-3-0 road trip through thw est where the effort was there but the cohesion was gone.
If this deal goes down, it is possible that the Lightning will shop Callahan before the deadline, but I beliee that will be contingent on other thigns happenign during the course of the next few minutes / hour or so.
