It may seem like the dead of summer and all-too-long until the new NHL season starts, but the 2015-16 season is in stir in form or another; it gestates internally with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
One of the preparations for this season (and seasons to come) was announced today by the club: the 23-man roster for the 2015 prospect tournament taking place in Estero, Florida between September 12 and 15. The franchise also announced in their press release that this team will practice at Ice Sports Forum in Brandon on September 10th and 11th before heading south for the tournament.
There are no listed invitees (non organizational players) on this list of players), which isn’t exactly surprising with the depth throughout the system. It doesn’t mean, however, there won’t be invitees to training camp later in the month.
