Some of you oldtimers around here may remember when Raw Charge had a little store that sold, among other things, t-shirts. Or, based on our sales, maybe you didn’t notice. That’s mostly on us. We were focused on building a strong writing team and getting the best free and independent Tampa Bay Lightning coverage out on the web that we could.
Recently, we were approached by BreakingT, a sports merchandise company, looking for us to be an affiliate with them in regards to a series of Tampa Bay Lightning t-shirts and hoodies that they just launched. You may have seen some of their work before. One of the neat things about BreakingT is that they have a pretty fast ramp-up time. If something happens in a game that catches the attention of the nation, they can have a t-shirt up almost overnight to commemorate it. Kind of like the “Bunch of Jerks” thing for the Canes last season.
They just launched their first Tampa Bay Lightning design, featuring everyone’s favorite Russian Hart Trophy Winner, Nikita Kucherov. It’s currently available as an adult t-shirt or a hoodie (for those three days in Florida when it dips below 65 degrees).
As the season progresses, new designs will come forward and be available for purchase. If you see something you like, or something that you want to make a Bruins loving fan wear when they lose a bet to you, please use this link to start the process.
As an affiliate we do get a small portion of the funds generated by each sale that comes from our referral. That money will be put back into the website. Whether it’s paying our writers a little more, investing in technology to expand what we do, or just buying food for the office alligator we will use the money to enhance our coverage for you.
