The Lightning beat the Canucks last night. Here’s a recap of the game from yours truly.

Here’s what Coop had to say after the win about Eyssimont’s goal and working back from the start of the second.

Eyssimont talked about the changes he’s made and adjustments he’s made over the summer with his stick. He scored his first goal of the season with the same curve Brayden Point has.

Nick Paul was an engine all night, and especially on the two goals he was a part of. Here’s him after the game.

And the goal of the night, the snipe from Eyssimont.

In Syracuse, the prospects went to a haunted house together. To say they were scared from the first minute was an understatement, haha.

The Winnipeg Jets are losing fans and are possibly at the beginning of a very worrying trend down.

Flames prospect Topi Ronni is facing criminal charges for rape, his Finnish league team announced. You couldn’t tell that was the truth when looking at the Flames statement, though.

The Sharks had some awkwardly public drama today as they were planning to put Kevin Labanc on waivers today, but then pulled back on the idea after getting a call from the player’s agent. Looks like communication fell apart between the team and player as Labanc only played his first game of the season last night and is sitting on the last year of a $4.725 million contract that is backloaded to pay him more than $5.8 million this year.
